People buy a sofa on OLX, a wardrobe on Prom, a fridge at Rozetka, a kitchen at Epicentr — and hit the same wall: the store or the seller will not deliver it the way you need. The courier leaves the box downstairs. The OLX seller says «collection only». The Epicentr warehouse hands it over at the ramp. How pickup differs from store delivery
Official delivery from Rozetka, Comfy, or Epicentr is convenient for small goods. For a sofa, a sliding wardrobe, a Side-by-Side fridge, or 12 kitchen boxes it often stops at the building entrance. We close that gap.

Where we actually collect from
The seller’s apartment or entrance. Sofa, wardrobe, table, used appliances. The seller almost never helps carry from the 5th floor — you need a pair with straps.
Seller’s warehouse, showroom, or apartment. Often the wardrobe is already assembled «for photos» — it has to be taken apart. Sometimes collection from a parcel office, if the bulky item was squeezed in there.
Collection point or warehouse. Goods in the factory box. You need your order / code / passport per the store’s rules. We move fridges and washing machines as in the appliances guide.
Self-collection ramp. Kitchens, doors, plasterboard, bags, an 80 kg planter. A queue at loading is normal. We match the cargo hold to the volume, not «whatever showed up».
Flat-pack boxes or an assembled floor sample. Check whether the store will carry it to the vehicle, or whether we need to go into the hall with straps.
Collect from a branch or from an address in Brovary, Vyshneve, Irpin. Outside the city — hours + 20–25 UAH/km both ways.

The same figures as on the site. Vehicle minimum — 3 hours, mover minimum — 2 hours. So «pick up a washer in an hour» still hits the minimum.

OLX and Prom: how not to burn an hour at the entrance
Pickup from a listing is the most common job after «move a sofa between apartments». The difference: you do not control the collection address. The seller may live in a walk-up with no elevator, leave the legs on, and show up late.
What the crew does on OLX
- Arrives in the agreed slot, not «sometime after lunch»
- Brings straps, carries the item in a pair, secures it in the cargo hold
- If needed, disassembles a sofa/bed (400 UAH) or wardrobe (800 UAH) at the seller’s address
- Does not haggle for you and does not check whether it is a «genuine iPhone» — that is your deal
What you should do before calling a vehicle
- Measure the item and your doors / elevator. «Well, they got it into the seller’s place somehow» is not an argument
- Ask about the floor, elevator, whether it is disassembled, and whether there is parking by the entrance
- Agree an exact time. Hours run from departure: 40 min waiting in the yard is your money
- Pay for the goods yourself. The crew does not carry cash «for the buyer» and is not a guarantor of the deal

Home appliances (Rozetka, Comfy, Foxtrot, Allo)
Goods in a box, handed over by order number. We need: when they issue it, box dimensions, delivery floor, elevator. Washer and TV — minibus + 1 mover: the driver does not sit in the cab, they help carry. A large fridge — van + pair. We do not lay a fridge on its side «so it fits» — details in the appliances article.
Epicentr and building hypermarkets
Pickup here means a ramp, a ticket, sometimes a queue of a dozen Gazelles. Build in extra time. A kitchen in flat packs travels well in a Gazelle: boxes stack, weight is spread. Plasterboard and doors — maxi-bus or Gazelle, a pair is mandatory: sheets are not carried by three «for speed», they are carried by two from the ends.
JYSK, furniture showrooms, factories
Ask whether store staff will carry it to the vehicle. If not — it is ordinary loading by a pair. Treat an assembled floor sample like an OLX wardrobe: disassembly may be needed.

Length / width / height of the item, the box, the door opening, the elevator cabin. A photo with a tape measure on OLX is gold.

Rozetka collection «today until 20:00» is not a slot. Get a specific hour. OLX seller — «I’ll be home from 18:00».

How are you different from store delivery?
A store courier often leaves the item at the entrance or on the ground floor, does not wait for an OLX seller, and does not disassemble a wardrobe in someone else’s apartment. We pick up from the apartment/warehouse, carry it to your floor, disassemble and reassemble if needed (400 or 800 UAH), and can take away old furniture on the same trip.
Is waiting for the seller or warehouse included in the price?
Yes. Hours are counted from when the crew leaves. If the seller is 40 minutes late or there is a queue at the Epicentr ramp — that is working time. Better to agree an exact slot than pay for idle time.
Can you pick up from two addresses in one trip?
Yes. A second stop usually adds an hour for the drive and loading. Example: Gazelle min. 1 800 UAH + pair × 3 hrs = 2 100 UAH, total ~3 900 UAH in Kyiv, if both items fit in one cargo hold.
What if the sofa does not fit in the elevator?
